None, nada. Why screw with a world-class, high output engine like the S54? This engine also has a history of being somewhat fragile in its naturally aspirated state. Super or turbo charging is not going to extend the longevity of this engine.
If 333 HP or 315 HP in your case isn't enough then buy a Porsche GT-3.

don't know what your talking about? the S54 being fragile. that's old news! and BMW have addressed those issues by way of different oil weight and a change in bearings.

today ... HPF is getting over 800hp on a stock block S54, with no engine failures. myself i'm running a VF S/C with over 400+wrhp and have no issues what so ever and by the way i have more HP the a Porsche GT-3

I tend to agree with some of the complications I've experienced with forced induction. But, 460 horses to the wheels feels pretty good too. I'd love to have a GT3 or GT2, but the price tag is just a bit off the mark for me.

I'm in the middle of installing a pre-owned AA 1st generation Rotrex c30 system in my '00 Roadster. I posted some pictures into this album... .

The original owner had his 00 Roadster Dyno'd at 290 rwhp with this set-up, so I would expect the same. I might get a few more with my M50 intake manifold? Perhaps it isn't quite as impressive as >400, but I think it ought to make things a little more exciting.

If fate smiles kindly on me, I should have the car running and back together by this weekend.

I reviewed the initial pictures and look forward to your thoughts when all is back together again. 290 to the wheels is very nice and controllable, with a balanced ride experience, I imagine. My 460 to the wheels seems excessive... some days :)

Looking forward to some video, if you get time.

You can see the mods on my car at my page, but the only horsepower readings I have are on Ca. pump gas for 245 at the wheels. The computer was shutting it down there because of massive preignition.
