Anyone aware of sources for limited slip differentials other than Dinan?

Plenty.

For the most part, anything that would fit in the E30 would work in the E36/8.

You can look at Diffsonline or Metrixmotorsport for examples of what is out there. I recently swapped my 3.73 LSD (which I upgraded from the OEM 3.23 back in 2005) to a Quaife 4.10 LSD.

Like anything else, it's a matter of what you want to spend.

Thanks for the comments. Is your M a daily driver, occassional, or a track car?
