Help with radio code

Brad - I understand you can help with getting the correct radio code. Had to replace the battery in my 2002 Z3 3.0 two weeks ago. The radio is asking for a radio code. Pulled the unit to get the serial and model numbers, went to the dealer. They have given me two numbers neither of which work!! They can't explain why. The radio calls for a 5-digit number which the two given by the dealer are. The radio book says to press the right arrow key after entering the 5th digit. I do this and still getti… Continue

Steering wheel change

I recently bought a new wheel that has a neew suede wrap that is super thick and it is what I've been looking for on my M//roadster but now that it is here my mechasnic says it won't work because it is a two stage air bag and my 2000 ///M is a single stage bag. NASA Great Lakes

Hey folks, Site is very cool with the gathering of M-Coupe people. Some really beautifully kept cars. Looks from profiles that several of you run HPDE or Autocross. Reason for post is to encourage those living in Ohio, Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan to come out to a NASA HPDE & Race Weekend this summer. I've been working for the past few months to create a coupe outline, and offer shirts with the design on it with teh BMW marketing phrase used for Z3 Coupes "It's a lot like nothing else" Everything is up and running to take orders for the coupe shirts. Mystery Leak / Water or Oil ?

I had the M coupe up on the lift today looking for any oddities. After a brief inspection, it appears to be a little wet near the oil drain plug. So, after taking the protective pieces away I think I pinpointed the issue. My first thought was oil, but after some research I think it might be water per the rust present around the area. *** Update *** Fixed *** The issue was part number 11-11-1-318-185 (Constant Pressure Value).
